ELCORO was born in Eibar, in 1892, as TORNILLERÍA ELCORO.Our main industrial activity was based in cut-off screw for different customers of the army sector.
In 1910 the facilities were moved to the village of Elgeta. The target was to increase the business towards other industrial areas (handing tools, locking, …).
ELCORO created a new organization called ELCORO DECOLETAJE (1999 – 2.500 m2) with the merger of machines, employees and installations that came from Tornillería Elcoro and Eibar Decoletaje.
ELCORO GROUP includes 4 new industrial factories located in Orcoyen (ELCORO AUTOMOTIVE - 6.000 m2), in China (JIANG YIN ELCORO PRECISION MACHINERY – 2.000 M2), in Vitoria (COMBISA – 2.000 m2) and in Mendaro (ELCORO TREPANADOS - ASIATORR2 - 500 m2), focused each respectively in turned parts and deep drilling. |
In order to extend the business, ELCORO acquired a new industrial building (1986).The actual owners bought the company in 1992 and increased the business buying a new factory (EIBAR DECOLETAJE), set up in 1955.
